The Goats

The all-male herd was adopted from Puget Sound Goat Rescue in the summer of 2019. Finley, Miles, and Sailor are Saanens (white), and Bronson and Silas are Toggenburgs (brown).

Even though they are quite big - Miles, our largest goat, weighing in at 320 pounds - these boys are some of the sweetness goats you'll ever meet with wonderful personalities to boot! They love to interact with visitors, especially when you brush them with a curry comb.

The Dogs

Rabbit is a rescue from Louisiana, born in October 2015 and joined our family in December 2015. She is an American Staffordshire, Pitty, and Boxer mix, and she’s one of the sweetest pups you’ll meet. She has slowed down these past few years battling mast-cell tumors, but she still loves to play and run laps around the yard. Her favorite spot is on the couch snuggled with a friend out of the rain and cold.

Theo was born in Texas in early 2022 and was adopted in June 2022. He is truly a mutt with a mix of 17 different breeds - the top 3 breeds being German Shepard, Boxer, and Chow Chow. He is quite shy and will keep his distance, but he is known to sneak a lick of your hand when you least expect it. We’re proud of the progress he’s made since joining the farm, and we know clients have been a major part of his growth.

Rose is the newest addition to the farm, rescued from the China meat markets. She was born in June 2021 and joined our farm family in October 2023. She is a Golden Retriever through and through and craves human contact. Warning, once you start petting her, you can never stop!

Our beloved Sydney, farm matriarch and lover of belly rubs, died in June 2023. She was rescued from the Kitsap Humane Society in December 2012 and was our very first farm dog. She leaves treasured memories for us and our clients. We miss her dearly.

The Chickens

We have two flocks of chickens on the farm. One flock lives near the garden, sifting through the dirt for worms and other bugs. You'll often hear our rooster, Tumeric, crowing in the distance.

The other flock has their own coop in the goat yard, and they are fun to observe. They can be quite silly and curious when humans visit, and you’ll undoubtedly hear Flip, the rooster, crowing away.

The Bees

Bees have been a part of our farm for almost a decade. There are currently 4 active beehives working diligently to pollinate our orchard and garden. While clients will not interact with the bees, they can observe the hives from a safe distance. It’s also fun to participate in our honey harvesting event in August.

The Barn Cats

Peyton & Sparrow were adopted from the Kitsap Humane Society in October 2023. They are our barn cats and help with mice, moles, voles, and other critters around the farm. They are semi-feral, so you may or may not have the opportunity to see or interact with them.
